Pre-Game vs. Binghamton 2/6
Greetings from the Glens Falls Civic Center, where the Adirondack Phantoms (18-22-2-1) and Binghamton Senators (27-12-1-3) have just wrapped up warm-ups. Due to a variety of difficulties, I didn't catch pre-game line rushes. This blog post will be updated later in the first period with the lines.
This is a good chance for the Phantoms, shut out in their last outing, to bounce back against a Senators team that is currently ranked No. 2 in the Eastern Conference and No. 3 in the AHL with 58 points. Storyline to watch in this one: the Phantoms' power play, which has carried them as of late, against a PK that has allowed 26 power play goals all season. It's second in the AHL at 87.6 percent.
Boucher vs. Lehner, based on what I caught off warm-ups.
