Pre-Game vs. Connecticut 1/5

Greetings from Glens Falls Civic Center, where the Connecticut Whale (14-17-2) and Adirondack Phantoms (13-17-1-1) are on the ice for warm-ups. Proving there really is no such thing as a safe bet, Phantoms coach Terry Murray selects Cal Heeter as his goaltender tonight. It'll be the same match-up as 24 hours ago, as Connecticut counters with Cam Talbot. He pitched a 25-save shutout last night.

Ian Slater is in for Mike Testwuide. He'll make his American Hockey League debut. Full lines below. All kinds of shake-ups for Adirondack after last night's loss, while Connecticut runs the same 20. I can't readily remember the last time Brayden Schenn and Sean Couturier started on the same line.

By the way, with all this lockout discussion, is it possible this is that duo's Phantoms swan song? The deadline for having a new deal in place is reportedly Jan. 11. Adirondack has no games before then.
